Ecotourism is introduced as a type of sustainable tourism in that its policies and principles for development are based on conservation of environmental heritage (including natural and cultural heritage)

Via engagement of local people and communities in the tourism development process We claim that sustainable construction and architecture has vital role in achieving the tourism full potential for conservation and development of a Region, with recognized capacity for tourism growth. Buildings that make possible tourism occupation, involve extra consumption of energy and natural resources, when compared to average levels of local communities. To make progress on this, we are gathering a representative set of tourism compounds that will be analyzed through criteria from evaluation methods of sustainable construction. We are gathering data related with the comfort experience of this buildings users, aiming to know the ratio between tourist’s demands of comfort and final consumption of resources. As result of this research, we intend to refine environmental certification criteria in this specific geographical context and building category and, if necessary, define corrective intervention strategies and guidelines.

This thesis proposes a composite framework for the evaluation of the environmental impact of tourism development on host destinations. In this study, the environmental impact of tourism is considered as a social-ecological phenomenon that can be categorized into the two aspects of natural and social-cultural impacts.

  • Exploring nature and developing tourism that have minimum impact on nature as well natural resources.

*Site provide a lot of natural features such as  scenic forest , water front and dramatic hills on 360 degrees but has no proper architectural space to utilize these things

*To develop a tourist village which will respect local constructions techniques

*To foster a harmonious flow between nature and the village.

The project has been developed based on the building’s atmosphere and its connection to the landscape.

The building is thought of as a living room in the ENVIRONMENT. Its wide and smooth shapes gently wandering along the preserved trees are inspired from the eroded stones seen on the site
As a true dialogue between architecture and nature the project
. On one hand there are public areas and on the other the fragile forest . The use of wood and its implementation gives us the opportunity for eco-construction solutions.
Promoting mass tourism and facilitating tourist as well as the conservation of site with approach of Eco tourism. The whole building seem integrated part of site with perfectly blending in it.

Appearance means that each building has a good viewing surface of glass walls, through which the magnificent scenery of the canyon can be absorbed by the buildings, resonating between buildings and canyon. Sitting in the interior of the buildings or under the eaves, people can communicate with the rocks, rivers and earth

Due to the particularity of site selection, the first problem that the design team need to solve is the relationship between architecture and environment. The scenery of the canyon is powerful enough to become the protagonist of the Resort; Meanwhile, the buildings should be
integrated into the environment, and then to improve the environment with its own characteristics.

  • Bhatar is a dry stone masonry structure reinforced with horizontal timber reinforcement bands
  • It is a traditional construction known since centuries. Very old construction have recited through the years and various earthquake.
  • Timber bands (with cross pieces) act as seismic bands which prevent the walls from falling apart in an earthquake
  • Continuity of the timber elements all around rooms is Essential to ensure strong resistance. Proper connection of the timber elements is critical for safety
  • Quality wooden joints will ensure strong connection. Nailing is not sufficient.
  • Wall thickness is 18 inches
  • Foundation is 2 and half feet
